System · Aluminium formwork

Aluminium formwork, engineered for the pour cycle.

High-cycle aluminium formwork for monolithic residential structures, walls, columns, slabs, staircases and bespoke geometry. Designed against your drawings and delivered unit-wise to the sequence.

Aluminium formwork panels installed on a structure
Overview

Aluminium formwork casts walls, slabs, columns and staircases in a single monolithic pour. The system is lightweight enough to be handled without a crane, precise enough to leave a finish that requires no plastering, and durable enough to sustain a repeatable floor-cycle across an entire tower.

Schach designs each project against the specific structure. Shell plans, modulation drawings, cycle plans and component schedules are prepared, reviewed with the client, then released to production and site as one traceable package.

Key benefits
  • 01

    Programme certainty

Repeatable pour cycles, sequenced components and clear reuse planning support predictable floor-cycle delivery.

  • 02

    Reduced site labour

Panelised, colour-coded, hand-set components reduce dependency on skilled shuttering labour.

  • 03

    Concrete finish

Machined panel edges and consistent joint detailing produce a formed finish suitable for direct paint in most cases.

  • 04

    Managed reuse

System reuse should be planned around inspection, refurbishment and component replacement. Achievable cycles depend on maintenance regime and are agreed per project.

Design & engineering support

What to send us.

To scope the system accurately, our engineers work from the following information:

  • Architectural and structural drawings, including sections
  • Slab, beam and column schedules
  • Pour sequence and construction programme
  • Loading and pressure assumptions
  • Access, storage and craneage constraints
  • Required concrete finish and reuse cycles
Safety & compliance

Aluminium formwork used at Schach is engineered against the specific project. Applicable standards, load classes and configurations are stated on the project technical proposal issued by our engineering team.

HSE guidance requires temporary support equipment to be selected and used in accordance with manufacturer instructions, with calculations and independent checking in more complex cases. Our design documentation supports that.

Typical applications
  • High-rise residential
  • Affordable & mass housing
  • Concrete cores & shear walls
  • Column & beam structures
  • Staircases
  • Curved façades
